Mind the GAP- Wednesday recipe

This recipe is from Helen and is a nice vegetarian version of the classic SHEPHERDS PIE!!!!!!!

WOWZER!

For the non-vegetarians amongst the listeners, this is occasionally known as shepherdess pie as it is meat free!

Veggie Shepherds Pie

6 potatoes
200g quorn mince
1 onion
2 carrots
75g peas & swetcorn
1 veggie oxo cube
mixed herbs

Method

1. fry onion
2. add mice cook for 2 mins
3. add oxo cook for 2 mins (add extra water if neeed)
4. then add vegtables
5. leave to stew on low heat.

6. Boil Potatoes then mash them.
7. Put mince mixture in a heat proof dish cover it with the mash.
8. Cook till mash is crisp
9. Then eat and ENJOY!
