East Leeds FM

West Yorkshire Playhouse Fun Palace 2014

ELFM loves getting out into the Community and finding out what it has to say, Schools, Community groups, Galas and Festivals, we’ll be there with Caravan Of Love to find out what’s going on.

This Show

Lots of fun and interactivity from the caravan at West Yorkshire Playhouse

Schedule

A Family Fun Day (and a half!) for EVERYONE. Fun Palaces was a fabulous vision dreamed up by legendary theatre director Joan Littlewood in the 1960s for a ‘University of the streets’ where Everyone is an Artist, Everyone a Scientist.

East Leeds FM will be broadcasting live at 2pm and 4pm with a round-up from all the Fun Palace activities together with live music, drama and news about Chapel FM-a very special new Leeds venue. If you want to have a go at broadcasting yourself, just join the ELFM team in their own Fun Palace-the Caravan of Love.

About us

East Leeds FM was created back in 2003 as a pilot project run by Heads Together Productions with students from John Smeaton High School. It has grown and developed since then and in 2014 we are opening the first-ever dedicated arts centre in East Leeds—Chapel FM.
