broadcasting to both valleys at once
We are absolutely committed to supporting local music – and run monthly broadcasts (Everybody Loves Fabulous Music – or just simply the FAB broadcasts). This section of the ELFM website gives you a taster of some of our back-catalogue of live sessions from the Disco Dungeon
After a summer of festivals and touring, Leeds finest music radio broadcast Everybody Loves Fabulous Music returned on Sunday 4th October. The schedule’s below including links to the programmes we have put up on the site as podcasts.
1-2pm: Follow The Lieder
We report back from this year’s bi-annual Lieder festival that brings together writers and composers for unique, one off performances.
2-3pm: Everybody Loves Folk Music
Roddy Doyle and Kate Badcock present live sessions and interviews from the cream of the Leeds folk scene.
3-4pm: Scene To Be Heard![]()

Every month we invite participants in the Leeds music scene to come in to the studio and play their favourite music. Fresh from the great success of Leeds’ first Cuckoo Fest, this month we unleash Acoustic Revolution’s George Riley and Emma Tate onto the world. You have been warned!
4-5pm: Junior Disco Dungeon
Live sessions and interviews from singers and bands who are under the age of 19 but have a whole heap of talent. This month we have, for your listening pleasure – Ryan Smith, Lucy Baytrip and Fran Clarke
5-6pm: High Fidelity
Andy Patchett returns, playing only the best in local music. We’ve heard some excellent new recordings released by local artists recently – check them out and do more… get out or get online and buy them yourselves and help support local music.
6-8pm: The Disco Dungeon
This time it’s the turn of the grown-ups to play live in our infamous studio. This month we welcome in Blues combo Mojo 57 and singer-songwriter Mr. Gary C.
