After 30 mins: Greg White reads a sharp poem about the Statue of Liberty and Robert Sharp from English Pen puts the idea of Liberty in its historical context; plus our reader Vince Simpson tells us about SOPA and PIPA…
After approx 60 mins: a poem from Jenny Goodman, more words of wisdom from Our Lady, plus Jo Brandon on her new volume of poetry, Phobia, published by Valley Press; a powerful piece of drama from Lucy Lucy, an interview with English Pen, and a live short story from James Fernie.
After approx 90 mins: a piece from Jane Kitsen, poems from a Carers writing project in Bradford, a chat with Christine Bousfield with some poems from her new collection published by Indigo; interviews with a writer in prisons, Irene Garrow, and a writer who started his writing career in jail, David Riley.
