We are planning to convert Seacroft Methodist Chapel into the most amazing permanent broadcast base: we’re calling it chapELFM. In the meantime we’ve been holding a series of special broadcast events at the Chapel…just to show what would be possible.

2nd May '10East Leeds FM was created back in 2003 as a pilot project run by Heads Together Productions with students from John Smeaton High School. It has grown and developed since then and over 7000 people have been involved in broadcasting over that time – ranging in age from three to 87!
