News from The Sofa

Posted by Peter on March 2, 2010 – 2:02 pm

Next Saturday Sofa broadcast: Saturday March 27th, 10am-12.30. Theme: Place.

For the next Saturday Sofa, ELFM are based at the Headingley Literature Festival. The theme of the Festival is A Sense of Place.

As David Byrne memorably sang ‘I guess that this must be the place’. Where is that place for you? Where do you belong? How do you evoke your place in words?

We will be covering many of the Lit Fest events, talking to both writers and audience, inviting them to come on The Sofa which this time will come directly from The Caravan of Love parked outside Headingley Parish Church.

Come along, read live in Headingley on the morning of that Saturday 27th March between 10am and 12.30 or ring me and we’ll fix a time to do a pre-record.
