Chapel Blog: Day 11–Smeaton students

The whole afternoon has been so fun, and it has been awesome working with the ELFM team. Getting to work so closely with the professional writers has been truly inspiring.
We received a great deal of help and support from the team, and our teacher, Mrs Roberts, who rehearsed our pieces of writing with us.
The experience has been very interesting and fun, and it has been very fulfilling for me, even though I didn’t read live (thanks to everybody that read for me!).
I enjoyed being on the radio because I’ve never been on before. I’m definitely going to keep going to creative writing club.
Emily enjoyed listening to Rachel read her story on the radio because Emily had had laryngitis so she couldn’t read it herself. She also enjoyed listening to other people read.
I really enjoyed being on the radio, it was a brilliant experience. It has been fantastic and I would definitely like to visit the chapel again.
I thought that radio was a brilliant experience, and we all had great fun writing our stories for the radio.
I thought that performing on the radio was amazing! I haven’t been on the radio before so it was a new experience. I would definitely do it again.
I loved the atmosphere in the chapel and I like the fact that the whole of the world can listen to my story.
It was really good when the comments came in – the public seemed to like our work!

I was so very proud of all of you – you were so well-behaved and really showed off your talent. I’m glad you enjoyed it so much.
