Today the Arts Council of England have agreed capital funding of £327, 351 towards our chapELFM development.
That adds to the funds already secured from The Tudor Trust, Jimbo’s Fund, The Scurrah Wainwright Charitable Trust, The Monument Trust, WREN, Caird Bardon, Leeds City Council as well as through our own Friends of chapELFM scheme and it means only one thing…
We now have the green light to go ahead with the redevelopment of Seacroft Methodist Chapel to create chapELFM: the first-ever dedicated arts venue in East Leeds. We would like to take to take this opportunity to thank all the people who have helped us to get to this point…now, let’s build the thing!
We will be launching the whole project on 5th February 2013 – in the meantime more information is on the Heads Together website…
