A full weekend of broadcasting for January’s ELFMonthly Megaphone: on Saturday 30th our our monthly words-based broadcast looked at Belief; and on Sunday 31st there was more music that you can shake a stick at … because Everybody Loves Fabulous Music:
Saturday 30th January: 3-5.30pm – Belief
What do you believe in? What’s your personal credo? Have you ever lost your religion, or gained one? Do we need God? Why do you get up in the morning? An extravaganza of interviews, writing, poetry, music (and even a specially written radio drama) investigating the theme of belief.
Sunday 3st January: 1-7.30pm – Everybody Loves Fabulous Music
1-2pm: Everybody Loves Flamenco Music
The incredibly talented Ramtin Montezemy continues his journey through Flamenco, playing live and presenting key moments in the genre.
2-3pm: Everybody Loves Folk Music
Roddy Johnston introduces live session and interviews with Helen and Richard – The Grey Cats.
3-4pm: Scene To Be Heard:
Singer/Songwriter James Owen Fender sets up shop in the studio to play us his choice selection of music and tells us why he love them so!
4-5pm: Junior Disco Dungeon
This month we opened our doors to Indie/Rock funsters Subconscious and Singer Tyron Webster
5-6pm: High Fidelity
Newly revamped and refitted to bring you news, events, opinions and interviews as well as the best selection from Leeds’ might DIY scene!!!
6-7.30pm: The Disco Dungeon
Live sessions and interviews in our now famous Disco Dungeon with big hitters The I’s Of Idaho and the indie musings of Soul Circus.
