Obviously there are all sorts of issues - not only language but cultural differences as well.

Hillcrest have a great  team of staff who work hard to make everyone welcome at the school and we have had a lovely time working with them; with parents; and with children at the school to make the dvd.

There’s loads of different stuff on the dvd – the children explaining what happens in a normal day at school; welcoming everyone in different languages and explaining what they like about Hillcrest. And we’ve got a bit more work to do before we launch the dvd at a special event on 22nd October – if you are interested in coming along then just email me.

Elfm is going to have a gang night out (while doing work at the same time! (but it will be fun!))

On the Friday 10th October the crew is going to Leeds Light Night. Its a dusk to dawn event happening throughout Leeds, with loads of things going on, different arty things, technology things and more… I have looked at the website and it looks SO MUCH FUN! Tuesday 14th October is when we all come back together and do a group edit of all our audio collected on the friday! So new people learn how to edit and old people brush up their skills!

DJ L Fire is currently spinning the best of Dance and R&B on his Urban Fusion show.

A big thanks to everyone has made today such a big success. We’ve had beautiful flamenco from Ramtin, pop funk fun delivered by the unstoppable Chachino and quality acoustic sessions from Hail Animator and Laura-Jayne Hunter.

Also thanks to all the ELFMers who did a great job.  Here’s to next month!!!
