Eastern Promise on Easel 2005

For the winter 2005 broadcast, ELFM ran a series of five one-hour programmes entitled Eastern Promise. The programmes were looking at bold attempts to regenerate whole swathes of East and South East Leeds under the EASEL initiative.

EASEL is a 15-year programme of regeneration for East and South East Leeds; a partnership between the Council, Housing ALMOs and the private sector.

Eastern Promise set out to find out more: What was the vision? How did local people feel about it? What would success mean and what difficulties might get thrown up…

Broadcast Meeting…

We are now planning for our next broadcast which is taking place from February 9th - 15th.  If you’d like to get involved then why net come to our next meeting taking place on Wednesday 9th at Gipton Access Point from 6pm-8pm.  If you need more info then give Ed a call on 07738 543442. Urban Forum-2007
