This isn’t really a “best of” because there were many amazing performances from the Musicathon, this is just an attempt to give a flavour of the 24 hours and how it all worked.

On Good friday we went down to the Elbow Rooms to catch, friends of ELFM, Chichino playing live. We also took some time to have a chat with them about their experience in the “Chapel of Love” during the Music-a-Thon as well as their plans for their upcoming album.

The beautiful voice of 9-year old Alicia Swain leads us onto the stage. Metro Goldwyn Gipton presents Aladdin in 20 minutes and Roger Harrington sings Tom Lehrer. Oh the lights… the music…

Presented by David Laycock on this Palm Sunday, a whole range of music including the Tom Havoc band, Colton Methodist Choir; D-Boyz from Domaine Youth Works, and a re-appearance from our very own Cleve Freckleton. Get that chapel singing… that’s what it was built for!
