A brilliant time in Honley
Posted by Adrian on December 2, 2009 – 11:20 amWe had a wonderful time in Honley on our last Two Valleys broadcast of the year. So good we thought you might want the chance to listen again to some of the shows. Just click on any of the links below and then hit the play button. Enjoy … we’ll be back in February 2010

What’s happening for young people: in school and out of school (including a whole scout special!)
and what about older people in the Valleys? - Saturday 5th December: We had a wonderful time in our lovely Caravan of Peace Love and Understanding out in Honley for the village’s special Christmas events.

Congratulations to you all for a really good weekend and a very successful foray into Honley Community radio. It seems that you were able accurately to reflect the large amount of community activity that the village has without it seeming like one village group after another
Also I am really grateful for the opportunity to take part in the drama – I say I am really quite chuffed as a pilot might have said!

We have been listening on line to your broadcast as our grandson, Tom Rohde, was one of your interviewers today.
My wife and I were very impressed with everything we heard and wish you every success in your worthwhile venture.
Best wishes to the team and your guests.
Regards
Ted (82) and Cath (78) Beaumont – Chester
P.S. We are Yorkshire folk – Cath from Hull and me from Doncaster originally.
